My Thoughts On My Life - 1272 Words

I closed my eyes and pondered my next move. Was I in a dream or what? After two hours, my eyes shot open. I woke up realizing that I fell asleep. I was breathing short, heavy breaths. I looked around the room with wide eyes. I might have fell asleep while thinking about the problem I had with my mom a while ago. I couldn t believe of what was happening between me and my mom. Tears slid right down my cheeks from my warm, butterscotch eyes, followed by another one, and another one, until soon, a steady stream of salty tears flowed it s way down my pale cheek, releasing the sadness and sorrow that has been held inside of me for all this time but still I did not make a sound, and just thought to myself. I couldn’t take this anymore. I was being pushed, I sat up gasping. I was thinking on how I was going to resolve my conflict with my mom. I didn’t know what to do. I felt like my heart had been ripped out. There was an aura of grey around me. It was a mist that wouldn t rise. A state of depression that I couldn t see myself through because of remembering that my mom kept telling me about â€Å"invisible strength†, and how I should do better in all the chess tournaments and pushing me to be the champion. My mom used me to show off, and that wasn t what other moms did. I felt a terrible weight on her shoulders. It was as if a giant boulder was laid on me and the fact that I couldn t straighten up or catch my breath entirely.
